Blog/Rant - Super Smash Bros

I'm not dead! (No one cares!) I haven't posted in a while because I lacked things to write about, but now with E3 and the only things I cared about done (the smash tourney and that was it), I have a decent amount to talk about.

June, 10 - the day of the smash bros invitational
I saw the invitational via twitch and it was fun, it was like that last scene on Real Steel you have to fight the urge to cheer for them, luckily in the privacy of my home I don't have to hold back my cheers of "Mess'em up!" and "Fuck yeah" and others. I love the smash bros series, every Nintendo fan does, I was actually watching it with my friend and I shit you not he asked "Why do people like this game, they keep using the same characters," (I need to note he isn't a big video game fan). This question got me thinking and I realized something, that is why people love Smash Bros, the characters are the reason. not only that, but the awesome idea of your favorite characters beating the ever loving shit out of each other. Smash Bros is a family friendly fan-service game and that is why every one loves it. People who don't know Nintendo love the game play and action, people who do know love the characters, the game play and action, and now that we have Smash Bros for portable systems plenty of other people can join in on the craze potentially making Nintendo the most inviting game company ever. I personally started out playing Smash bros with brawl on the Wii, but I still love the games with all my heart. I am stoked to play the news installment and kick some red plumber ass. I think my main characters will (be in this order) Little Mac, Pit, Mega Man, Greninja, and the Mii Fighter Brawler/Gunner. the first day I do plan on trying every character, but those will probably be who I stick with in verses matches. the only reason the Mii Fighter is so low on the list is because they can't be used online because of their lack of standard move sets. To be honest if it weren't for that they probably would be on the top of the list just after Little Mac and before Pit. (By the way I played and beat (the story) Kid Icarus: Uprising and I loved it, you guys should go pick it up it is fun and surprisingly easy to control). At this point I feel it necessary to note that i am not sponsored by Nintendo, I just love their stuff, and with my internet not being the most cooperative this week it has been the majority of my days, and I, like many others, can't wait for smash bros to come out this October and challenge my gamer friends at school.

Blog - This should be good

(Monotone emotionless voice) Hello. It's been a while. Well then let us begin. Good luck.

Creepy.
Anyway I just wanted to tell everyone who bothers reading these that I am taking a 3D graphics class and in that  class I am making a 3D model of the Pokemon Aigeslash, because I can. I am going to have to guess on some of the depth and thickness of him, but it sould go pretty well.

I have been watching an anime called Kill la Kill

Blog - What is this, something not about gaming? BLASPHEMY!!!

Warning this post is not about video games. you have been warned.

Yesterday, me and my family went out to the movies to see Teenage a kind of documentary on the youth between the ages of 13 - 19 hence the title. For a documentary it was actually very interesting and it kept my attention (which is not an easy thing to do). It talks about the youth of Germany and Britain between the times of WW1 and WW2 and talks mostly about American youth after that. Note: they don't actually start calling them teenagers until near the end which shows were the term teenagers come from. Its a good movie and would recommend it if you like history or anything like that.

Blog - I have the sudden urge to listen to Johnny Cash

I don't know why, but I have the sudden urge to listen to music by Johnny Cash. This is weird because I have never knowingly listened to his music before. What. Oh, you want an update on when I will start recording again (I know no one reads these, but it's fun to pretend) well I hope to start recording game-play videos soon. Sadly, recording will probably have to wait until summer, but don't worry I will continue making videos as soon as I can. I also want you to know that as soon as I'm done with Octodad I will start a Minecraft mini-game series.

I recently downloaded Smite. haven't played it yet, not enough time, but I expect fun times and maybe a few videos *wink wink* (This means absolutely nothing). For those of you that don't know, Smite is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game as far as I know it is like most other MOBAs, but it is in the third person view. I am new to MOBAs so I have a lot of learning to do.

I miss recording regularly but life won't allow it, Goodbye my friends. See you next time.

Blog - This is awkward

I reread some of the blog posts from the past and realized I lie to you all, a lot  I said I would record stuff, but I never got around to is, so from now on when I say I will do something unless something unavoidable comes up I will do it. This I swear. So for now no promises will be made until I know I can keep them.
